
The House of Delegates is the name given to the lower house of the legislature in three U.S. states – Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The governing body of several professional organizations, particularly medical ones such as the American Medical Association and its state affiliates (e.g. the Michigan State Medical Society) is termed "House of Delegates".
In South Africa under apartheid, the House of Delegates was the House for the country's Asian population in the tricameral Parliament between 1984 and 1994.
Amichand Rajbansi was Chief Minister of the House of Delegates tricameral parliamentary chamber.
The House of Delegates is also the name of the lower house of the Palau National Congress.
