Windows Live Spaces是微软live.com旗下的最新产品，也是MSN Spaces的后续版本。用户可以通过Windows Live Spaces发布网志内容、照片等。由于Windows Live Spaces与Windows Live Messenger有紧密联系（包括更新时在Live Messenger的名片上有自动更新星号、标题、内文与相片预览等）。Windows Live Spaces是目前使用人数最多的博客服务商。^{[来源请求]}

在中国的言论牵制

微软在中国新成立的入口网站中，有部分地方会禁止使用诸如“民主”、“自由”等字眼，以避免引起北京政府新闻审核人员的不悦。 英国《金融时报》报道，使用Windows Live Spaces来发表文章时，用户将会被禁用一些较为敏感的字眼来为网站取名。 报道指出，当输入“民主”等中文字时，网页会出现错误讯息，并写着：“本物件包含被禁止言论，请先删除受禁止之言论。”其他被禁止的中文字包括“游行”、“民主行动”、“台独”等。 《金融时报》写到，使用Windows Live Spaces在日志内文输入这些字眼依然没问题，此举显示出部分外商显然为了避免激怒中国政府，宁可在部分较为明显的地方采行文字审核的做法。 Windows Live Spaces服务是由上海MSN网络通讯技术公司所营运，其中微软占了50%股权。微软在中国禁用“民主”、“自由”字眼^[1] Windows Live Spaces可能会不定时无法访问，部分人士的Blog可能会被关键字过滤或只有中国大陆以外才可以浏览，这和GFW及微软的IP识别有关。自2008年10月31日起，http://spaces.live.com/已无法登陆入去访问，但http://*.spaces.live.com/仍可以访问，这样，用户无法登陆入去发表博客，不过仍可以借用Windows Live Writer软件发表。11月3日后恢复正常。
